How to set your rule to run from, to, or in-between specific dates
By default, automated rules will run continuously.
Using the Rule Scheduling feature, users can change this, by setting a run count limit or Custom Date Range.
If you wish to only run your rule from, to, or in-between specific dates, you can set this in the custom scheduling section of the rule creator.
Click the Set Custom Scheduling button.
Once the custom scheduling box is open, scroll to the bottom to see the Custom Date Range options.
If you wish for your rule to only run from a specific date, then you can input a time and date into the Start Date field.
In the example above, the rule will not start running until 12pm on 1st June 2019, then will run continuously.
If you want your rule to start running instantly, but to stop running on a specific date, enter a date and time into the End Date field.
N.B. If you set an end date for your rule, you will not be able to use the Run Count Limit feature.
In the example above, the rule will start running instantly, but will stop running at 5pm on 30th June 2019.
Start and End Date
If you wish for your rule to start running from a particular date and end running on a particular date - you can set both the Start Date and End Date fields.
In the example above, the rule will not start running until 1st June 2019 at 9am, then will stop running on 30th June 2019 at 5pm.
Enter your chosen date(s) as required and hit Save.
Your rule will run according to the schedule you have set.
