How can I check which ad accounts I have access to in Facebook?

How to see which ad accounts you have access to in Facebook

There are a few ways to find out which ad accounts you have access to in Facebook, but if you have access to ad accounts across Ads Manager and Business Manager, it can get a bit messy.

We find this to be the easiest method:

Head to your Ads Manager Account Settings

Follow this URL to get there: https://www.facebook.com/ads/manager/account_settings/information/

At the top of the page, click the dropdown (this will have your personal ad account showing).

This will display a list of all the ad accounts you have access to. These are split by your personal accounts and each separate business account with ad account(s) you have been granted access to.

How do I find out what access I have on an ad account?

Select the ad account you wish to view from the dropdown list above.

The page you are taken to will show you who has access to the ad account (including you) and what roles each person has.

In the example below, you can see that I have access to the chosen ad account as Ad Account Advertiser.

What ad account role will I need to connect an ad account to TrustAds?

In order to make changes to, or manage an ad campaign in Facebook, you will need access as an Ad Account Admin or Ad Account Advertiser.

If you are listed as an Ad Account Analyst, you will not be able to connect the ad account to TrustAds. If this is the case, please request higher access from the owner of the ad account.
